Why HF2?:
The car was built by Steve Bateman and Will McDonald as a replica of his first f2. Steve raced it a few times and then my dad had it I had my first go in it at Hednesford and got hooked really. Never properly raced anything before this other than a go when I was 13 in a stoxkart at Stoke but this is best car ive driven. Best way to describe it is no power, small tyres, no brakes and rattles like a tin can but the best fun I’ve ever had. The number I have 50 is the same number my grandad raced but in the day when he had a go in f1 at Rochdale so I want that to carry his racing number on.
